Tastes of Gold Coast

Tastes of Gold Coast is a food and wine festival showcasing everything from local produce and its makers through to innovation in food styles, local chefs and their culinary masterpieces, great restaurants, bars and cultural food experiences.

The festival has been running for 7 years now and this year is under new guidance from Strut and Fret Production house.

This year's festival will involve over 60 restaurants, producers, suppliers, and venues, with an expected 40 associated events on the menu. More than 50 local chefs will cook up delicious food for hungry festival goers. Therer will be a nine course degustation event, a cooking competition, a black tie cocktail party, an international food festival, an enormous breakfast in bed event, cooking demonstrations by local chefs, local chef ambassadors, a cocktail trail and much, much more.

Feature Events

• Eurofest (Neil Shannon Park) - International food and wine/ beer outdoor festival with entertainment
• Gold Box (Various Restaurants) - Mystery food box given to chef team to create 4 course meal in competition with other restaurants
• 3 Chefs do lunch (Arts Centre) - 3 chefs, 9 courses, beer and wine matching, sommelier
• Cooking demos at markets - Festival ambassador chefs cook outdoor at the markets
• Barefoot and Blacktie (Arts Centre) - Classy cocktail party to kick off the festival
• Cocktails Trail (Selected Hotels) - Tamborine Mountain Distillary will provide its vodkas and liquers to leading barmen in hotels to create cocktails as part of a trail for the festival period.
